The songs are all written in 2018/19, they are the first ones I wrote, and I felt it was important to release them before releasing new stuff. Because every song plays an important part of my journey, from destruction to liberation. My goal is to inspire and awaken, so I think it’s only fair that you get the whole picture.

The name Ormu came to me in an Ayahuasca ceremony. “Orm” means snake in Swedish, and just as the Oroboro that I chose to include in my logo – it stands for rebirth, prosperity and transformation.
‘Curaté’ is Spanish for ”Heal yourself”, and that’s what my music is all about. 

I come from a musical family and as I child I played multiple instruments before I took a break of 8 years. What was I doing instead? Drugs. At age of 19, people around me where dying and I felt myself destroying my self and my life. I isolated myself and picked up music again.
I realized that there is a direct connection between what I do and what I feel. So for the last 5 years I’ve been on a healing journey. I’ve been working with meditation, yoga, trauma therapy, plant medicines, rituals of the Vedas, and of course – Music.

1 year ago I moved to Berlin, where I now study the bass guitar at BIMM University along side of playing with my new band, who’s sound you’ll be hearing rather soon.

I as well play bass for the Israeli kult punk/grind/stoner/metal band Shchurdistan, and doing backing vocals for Jordan Elliot Dwyer.
